Hi loves! Sorry I have been absent lately, I have just been sitting around, Christmas detoxing.

Sadly, my dog has been sick and refusing food/losing weight for about 3 weeks now, and we took her to the vet's today and it does not look good. She is old (13) and has some serious heart issues, so I really haven't felt like blogging. We're going to visit her later today but I don't think I will want to blog for the next few days.

I'll try to have some fun looks up for New Years, and post regularly after that :)

<3 Hope you're all enjoying your holidays

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone!
Today is a combo post from both of us!
I used China Glaze Velvet Bow, White striping Pen, and sponged 5 Golden Rings (CG)...sorry that my nails look kinda crappy..this is attempt 3...first two attempts sucked, sorry, just gonna include the 2 pictures! (no really, the pictures really really suck, look at the misshapen nails :S)

And now my turn!

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful morning opening presents with family, and continue to have an awesome day. I'm so happy my whole family is together this Christmas morning and I have more family time tonight!

I saw this look on another blog and I knew I needed to try it! This is 2 coats of China Glaze Twinkle Lights, topped with 1 coat of Party Hearty!

Now go and play with your presents!

Thanks for reading loves and Merry Christmas! <3

Merry Christmas Eve!

Hi loves! Happy Saturday and Merry Christmas! I can't believe it's Christmas Eve already! This week has flown by!

Today's nails aren't really the most creative, or even the best I've done, but I realized that today, tomorrow & boxing day I wanted to spend with my family and not on nails. I love all you guys, but I hope you do the same (or do something fun for yourself, if you don't celebrate Christmas!)

I decided to use OPI Glacier Bay Blues as my base, and stamped the sleigh image from the BM plates with Sally Hansen Silver Sweep. I did this last night, and when I looked at the photos/my nails this morning I realized how wonky my stamps are on my ring & pinky fingers. Sorry!
I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas eve!

Inspired by Steff!

Hi loves! How's everyone doing on this friday? I'm looking forward to a relaxing day and chilling with my boyfriend, since he gets half days on fridays :)

The other day, I saw this on Steff's blog, and I had to try it out myself! I used some different base polishes but I like how it turned out. I used Dr. Remedy's Revive Ruby Red and China Glaze Jolly Holly for the base, and then took Steff's suggestion and used Nfu Oh 61 to stamp with!

I love the last picture, you can really see the holographicness of 61!

Anyways thanks for reading loves and only 2 more sleeps until Christmas Day! <3

Christmas Lights!

Hi loves and happy thursday! Only a few more days and it's Christmas. I am seriously so excited! Today & Tomorrow's nails are actually inspired by looks from other bloggers, because, well, I am not the most creative person, and some people just have beautiful nails!

Anyways, I am a fan of Christmas Lights being on Nov 1st-January, but my parents don't agree, they made me wait until Dec. 1st to turn ours sad! So when I saw this look on Sam (The Nailasaurus's Site), I had to try it out. Sam saw it on another blogger's site, and put her own spin on it, I tried it the way it was originally shown! I used Sally Hansen Whirlwind White and sponged it on, then my Kiss Nail Art Striper in black, and China Glaze Phat Santa, Konad Special Polish in Green, OPI Need Sunglasses? and China Glaze First Mate for the lights (here's the original tutorial!)

Yay! I love this. I know it looks messy compared to other people's, buttttttt it's so cute!

Classy Christmas?

Good Morning! I can't believe it's Wednesday already, Christmas is on Sunday! Insaneeeeee! Tonight my family is going to the ballet to see the Nutcracker! I am so excited, I love the Nutcracker :) We saw it back when I was about 8, so I can't wait to see it again!

Since we're going to the ballet and dressing up all fancy, and going out to eat before hand, I thought I'd do some "classy" nails to match. Now I know most people are conflicted when it comes to the french manicure, but to me it's a classic.

I decided to dress the traditional french manicure up with China Glaze White cap, and then stamped the Christmas Ornament on my ring finger in China Glaze Jolly Holly

Nice and simple, but I like how my nails look with it on.

Anyways I hope you all have a wonderful day! <3

Glittery Goodness

Hi loves! Happy Tuesday! Sorry that this post is so late, this is my week off and I'm just relaxing, which equals me slacking on posting, sorrrrry <3

So, since I figured out how to properly sponge my tips, I've been wanting to do it alllllll the time, but I have been restraining myself! However, I had a hankering for it, so I pulled out all the glitters in my collection and tried to pick what I wanted to sponge!

I decided that China Glaze Glittering Garland would be the perfect base to jazz up with some glitter, so I used OPI Spark de Triomphe to sponge over top!

So prettttttttttteh! I love how this looks!

Thanks for reading loves and have a fantastic day! <3

6 Sleeps!!

Hi loves and Happy Monday! I can't believe Christmas is on Sunday! It's SO soon! This is my week off from teaching, although I have a ton of marking to do, it's going to be pretty relaxed, since I'm done all my gift shopping!

Saturday was one of my extended family Christmas parties, so I decided to have some fun with my nails, and do a Christmas skittles mani, or a sort-of skittles mani!

I used China Glaze Go Crazy Red, Konad White for the Stamping and Party Hearty for the Glitter!

My little cousins loved it !

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day :) <3

Mmm Christmas Glitter!

Hey everyone!! 1 week until Christmas Day YAY!! And if you don't celebrate Christmas...1 week until you get a day off just because!
So, during exams, my nails got a little sad, even more brittle than usual and my cuticles are beat and all my nails broke/split/cracked and are now ugly and misshapen :(
So today my photos are more focused on the bottle shots, than on my nails, you can still see the amazing glitter, just...not so much focus on my nails.

I wore China Glaze's Party Hearty over top of China Glaze's Jolly Holly, both from last year's Christmas collection. I L-O-V-E these polishes! I need more of their new Christmas collection! I got Velvet Bow and Tinsel Town...but I have decided I want MORE!
Anyways on to the pictures! 1 coat of Jolly Holly and 2 of Party Hearty, obviously topped of with Seche Vite!

Tiny, sad, misshapen nubs :(

so pretty!

Mm Christmas glitter

Bottle lovin'
So that's all for me for today! What is your favourite type of Christmas nails? Can't wait for next Sunday!!! <3

Saturday, December 17, 2011

Hi loves! Sorry I missed out on the last few days! Friday was my last day of teaching placement so thursday & friday was SO busy. I managed to paint my nails but I haven't been able to photoshop/upload them until today!
And today is part 2 of my family christmas parties, so this is going to be a short post!

Anyways, I decided to try out the snowflake stamps I have, since we're lacking in snow on the ground. I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Blue It, and then stamped the snowflakes in silver!

 Well thats all for today!

Christmas Leopard

Happy Hump day loves! I know I have neglected Pink Wednesday but next week I promise to come back with a bang! Hilariously enough, the school I am teaching at is selling Candy Grams for a Christmas fundraiser, and they play the "4 for you Glen Coco, You go Glen Coco!" clip on the announcements every day!

So, my love, aka Kirsten, posted some nails on twitter the other day, and I was obsessed. They were Christmas coloured leopard nails. I mean, what is not to love? Christmas colours, leopard? So, I knew I had to try this idea out for myself. I used China Glaze Jolly Holly as the base, the leopard print in white from plate m57, and then dotted randomly with Essie Ruby Slippers, for some extra glitter!

So much fun! Thanks Kirsten for inspiring me!

Red & Sparkly...

Happy Tuesday lovelies! I cannot believe we're so close to Christmas! I still have some shopping to do but thankfully I don't have too much to do. My list is so small right now! I'm also so close to being half way finished with Teacher's College which is insane.

So, I bought Essie Ruby Slippers in July literally thinking that "this would be an awesome Christmas polish" and yet my camera can't handle it's awesomeness. I am going to have to try wearing it again in the next 13ish days and making it look better. But seriously, this polish just screams Christmas to me. Also, sorry my hands are so dry. I'm moisturizing like 600 times a day but the weather changed pretty drastically, temperature-wise, the last few days, which makes my skin freak out and dry up!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

On my nails that is! I wish it was snowing here! Happy Monday Ladies! Only 13 more sleeps until Santa comes haha! ALSOOOOOO Today is Kirsten's 1 year Blogoversary over at Glittagloves. I wish we lived in the same province/city cause I feel like baking cupcakes and showering her with glitter...yeah I'm a weirdo!

I am not the world's biggest fan of snow, mainly because where I live in Ontario, people don't react well to snow. It doesn't snow TONS here, a good amount, and it's not freezing, but people treat snow like they have never seen it before, and people trying to drive in snow = idiots. So, snow isn't my fav thing here, but I definitely love it around Christmas time. Unfortunately it's still relatively warm here, and very green!

On my nails, to make up for my lack of snow on the ground, I have Sally Hansen Whirlwind White topped with China Glaze Whitecap. I think it looks like snow when it's super bright out side and the snow sparkles!

Here's to hoping we get some snow before Christmas!
