Pink Wednesday Fail

Good morning and happy hump day! I am really back into counting down the days now that I'm back in school! So lame! Anyways! It's wednesday, which means...We Wear Pink!

Except, today is what I like to call a Pink fail :(, also an essie fail? Since I found my first essie I don't really like! I bought Essie Ballet Slippers, because I thought it was a nice light pink shade. But, I put it on and it was a hot mess. It was super streaky and took like 4-5 coats to be opaque, and then the shade  I thought was kind of ugly.  I mattified it, hoping it would help..but it didn't.

So want to see my fail?
*hangs head*

See? No bueno...UGH. It isn't pink enough, but it's not white enough...and just yeuchhhh. Liz no likey!

Anyways, I think I can throw this one in the swap/franken pile for sure!

Thanks for reading loves <3

  1. I think it is really pretty, Something I would totally wear.
But maybe if you layered it over a brighter pink it would make the color turn into a different pink. I don't know it is worth the try right. If not I guess you could get rid of it.

  2. Even though it's not as pink as you might like, it is still a nice shade :-)

  5. Despite the issues you had with this polish, I think the finished product looks great!

  6. Too bad this wouldn't become opaque in 2/3 coats, think it would have been prettier then! But I do love the girly/ballet look it gives your nails!

  7. It's not that bad! Some bright pink polka dots on there would look amazing!
