Ozotic 531, Another Holographic!

Happy Sunday Everyone!
For those of you in Canada, hurray for the long weekend to continue!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I have a very large test coming up and I started feeling very unenthusiastic about nail polish. I was still painting my nails but nothing exciting or worth sharing...or sometimes they chipped before I could photograph and I just didn't feel like repainting.

Anyways, this week I'll keep it short and sweet. It's been getting warmer, sunnier and generally nicer out, so once again I reached for one of my holo's. This is a new to me but not new to you guys. Elizabeth posted this on the blog way back when and now I have it! It's beautiful and very unassuming until you hit the sunlight!

Unfortunately after I put this on, it was not very sunny, so these photos are light box ones, oh well! This polish is a beautiful duo chrome holographic polish. In the shade it's a pink-y brown leaning green gold, and in the sun, the linear holographic really comes out to play!

Well that's all for me...sorry I'm not terribly exciting. Hopefully once I'm finished this test my nails will be a whole lot more crazy!

Pink and Grey

Happy Saturday and Happy Long Weekend (if you're in Canada!) This is what we consider "the kick-off" to  summer! I'm up with my boyfriend, hopefully enjoying the warmer weather and maybe even the beach!

This is a quick post, I did these nails a while ago, after staring at some colour combinations on the internet and pinterest. Light pink and gray seem so spring like. I added a BM stamp in a sheerer white, Sally Hansen Whirlwind White, to keep with the "lightness".

Jade Hypnose

Happy Thursday! Sorry I missed out on yesterday, I had a wicked headache so thankfully I didn't have to work. I slept/lounged around in a dark room..so thrilling!

Like I said before, the sunshine and beautiful weather has made me reach for holos, which I rarely wear in the winter. Jade Hypnose is such a beautiful blue holo. I wore this for about 5 days because I couldn't bear to take it off!

I hope you're all looking forward to the upcoming long weekend! I can't wait!

Neon and White Skittles

Happy Monday loves! I hope you all had a great Mother's Day with your mom's, (or your kids)! I went to my boyfriend's nephew (and now godson's) baptism. It was interesting to say the least, but we went out for a nice dinner, then I finished off the day huddled in my bed watching TV, since we experiences sleet, rain,wind and some snow yesterday, crazy!

I've been wanting to play with my neon's and holo's and so I took the opportunity of some shortened nails to wear a neon! I used OPI MBSW and Cult Nails Nevermore and BM plate 201, with accent nails of China Glaze Towel Boy Toy. Sadly my topcoat is not the most stamping friendly...but I'll be stocking up on some SV soon, so it'll work out.

Happy Saturday!

Hi loves & Happy Saturday! Sorry this post is a little late, I forgot to prep it before I went to bed last night and then I spent this morning chauffeuring my boyfriend around town (he didn't bring his car home) and I just dropped him off at the dentists. He is not very happy, as he has at least 4 cavities that need drilling and they'll probably find more. I don't know how he has any teeth without fillings left to be honest!

Anyways, because it's been so sunny out recently, I've been pulling out my holo's more often since they are SO pretty in the sun. I know I've worn and blogged about this one before but DS Sapphire is just so awesome. My 8 year old cousin LOVES it..but she never wants to wear it on her nails...just stare at the bottle haha! You might also notice I filed my nails down a touch..they were getting just a tad too long so I tried to bring them down to a manageable length!

Green Paisley

Happy Wednesday Loves! I hope you're all having a great week, mine is just flying by. I actually can't believe it's Wednesday already. My sister came home last night to visit for a few days, I'm happy she's here & we'll get to hang out! I miss her since she lives 2 1/2 hours away from me :(

This manicure is from awhile ago, it seems pretty uninspiring to me but I was trying to get back into the swing of stamping, so I picked a random polish & a random plate and here we are! I used China Glaze Starboard as the base and the paisley print from the BM 300 series stamped in Cult Nails Nevermore. Sadly my Seche Vite is getting really old and it bubbles a lot, even though I've thinned it..so there are a couple of "popped" bubble marks :(

Again, another short & sweet post. I don't have too much to ramble about these days sadly!

Lilac and Gold

Happy Monday loves! I am trying to get back in the blogging mood, I watermarked/cropped a bunch of photos this weekend and I actually have "pre"-picked polishes to wear this week (in no particular order), a number of those may be holographic or neons ;) So hopefully this gets me back into a routine, work is picking up again, since it's the end of the year, but also peak season for sports/clubs/trips in High Schools around where I live so supply teaching is busy (thank goodness!)

It's been so beautiful out, so much sun, warm weather, and that always makes me want to wear something glittery or shiny on my nails to catch the sunlight! I paired NCLA As If!, a lilac purple, with China Glaze I'm Not Lion, a gorgeous gold glitter. It was such a pretty combination, I got lots of compliments from strangers and students!

So pretty, but so simple. I'll probably do this style of manicure often this summer, since I love how cremes look with this glitter!
